comment on the lack of prosecution of Lance Armstrong despite overwhelming credible evidence of crime given under oath.

Created by K.T. on February 08, 2012

US Attorney Andre Birotte declined to prosecute alleged crimes of Lance Armstrong despite overwhelming credible evidence given under oath. We ask for comment on the appearance of impropriety that our legal system was manipulated in a way that's become all too common lately (i.e. Wall Street).
A press release on Friday 30 minutes prior to close of west coast business on Super Bowl weekend, seems to have been calculated to garner the least possible publicity, giving an appearance of tacit collusion between Andre Birotte & Lance Armstrong.
This decision undermines a foundation of our legal system–a jury decides guilt/innocence–not one man.
We seek no action. Only commentary from the White House explaining the rational, moral, and legal justification for the lack of prosecution in this case.
