commission Congress to appoint special prosecutor to investigate IRS handling of tax exempt applications.

Created by D.W. on May 18, 2013

It is our position that, due to the growing body of information regarding the handling of certain tax exempt applications by the IRS over the past year, the current administration and its legal counsel is not in a position to impartially determine whether certain IRS agents and their superiors broke the law in discriminating against certain conservative organizations applying for tax exempt status. In addition, it is not clear as to how high this issue goes and, therefore, independent counsel is needed to make fair and impartial determinations and to advise Congress.
