Commission a memorial to the victims of insufficient firearms control laws.

Created by G.S. on October 02, 2015

Since 2012, almost 1,000 school shootings have occurred in the United States. The victims of these crimes are students and teachers ensuring their futures through education. They are children, brothers and sisters. They and their families are guilty of no crime. More importantly, their deaths could have been easily avoided, and this simple truth only worsens the ordeal for those close to them. This truth is unilaterally avoided by those who advocate unrestricted ownership, putting their own interests above those of others. That they may be responsible gun owners is irrelevant. The United States is a society and it is the responsibility of voters and Congressmen to pass these laws in the interests of their fellow citizens. They must follow the example of other societies faced by such loss.
