US Soccer recently released the 2014 kit to be worn at the World Cup. The kit is widely regarded as a let down. The plain design does little to demonstrate the innovative ideas for which this country was founded on and has promoted for centuries. Past kits have been bold proclamations, analogous with the United States standing in the world. This 2014 kit however, implies that We The People lack the patriotism that we so firmly believe in. For this reason, in the interest of democracy, strong diplomacy, and a restored faith in our patriotic ideals, we request that the kit be redesigned in time for the World Cup.
