The president and his family take more vacations in a year than most Americans take in five years. What's worse is the extravagant travel expenses the tax payer is left covering while President Obama and the First Lady fail to plane-pool to their destinations. Meanwhile, millions who have lost their jobs suffer while attention to the economy and jobs is given a back seat. Mr. Obama was elected to work toward improving the economy, not take vacations. More work and less campaigning are needed--stop flying off to cities for fund-raisers and standing in front of groups of people to demagogue republicans. The president's partisanship only worsens the acrimonious environment in Washington D.C., and impedes the ability to improve what is a miserable economy the rest of America must endure.
