For years America has been the most advanced nation technologically, especially when it comes to space.
We cannot afford to fall behind now.
Since the Presidents cancellation of the Space Shuttle program, we have to use Russian Rockets built in the 1960s to get into outer space. The Chinese anticipate to be on the moon by 2030. The rest of the world is catching up and if we want to retain our dominance in this field we need a new initiative in space exploration.
With further research and a better program we could be on Mars in a decade.
Aside from the great explorations that would awaits us, the economy would also benefit from this new program. New technologies and innovations would be created. There would be more opportunities in space for a better economy and a better America.
