We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

The Common Core aspect of schools should be removed.

Created by D.S. on November 07, 2016

Students and parents that participate in the state school system do not get a fair say in how the standards for education are chosen. They should, because studies have shown that schools with common core versus those without tend to have lower GPAs and SAT scores. Also, teachers in public sector schools tend to be less hands on than those in the private sector, presumably because of low wages and other external causes. Not only does common core punish those that learn slower than the rest, it punishes those with above average mental capacity by artificially limiting their mental growth, which can lead to boredom. Boredom tends to push children to take more drastic measures to alleviate their boredom.
