“We the people” demand that our lawmakers start spending our tax dollars more prudently.
What this means is that if a government contractor sells a product or service to the government, it is to work for the contracted price, to the agreed to specs, BEFORE delivery. If it does not work as promised or as designed, it is to be fixed to specs BEFORE payment is released. If it cannot be fixed, the item is to be returned and a 100% refund is to be issued to the government.
Similarly, if an item purchased by any department in the federal government can be found cheaper by 2% or more, for an identical product at a retailer or online sources in the U.S., the contractor is to refund the government the difference in price.
