350 mass shootings this year so far, In the world we have the most arms per person.
Ban Assault Rifles & Semi-Automatic Weapons. This means firearms that shoot round with each trigger pull and refers to some military weapons and systems. This also effectively bans firearms (like machine guns) that shoot multiple rounds with a single pull. The bans restricts the manufacture, transfer and possession of these firearms.
Mandate background checks for private gun shows and purchases. This requires universal background checks on all prospective firearm purchasers, closing a loophole in federal law that allows private firearm sellers (i.e., unlicensed persons) to sell guns without conducting background checks. Over 80 percent of firearms used in mass shootings were obtained legally.
