In order to bridge the divide in our country, how about bringing back some form of service military or community service which would enable people from all races, creed, gender and social background to mingle. Our society has become far too compartmentalized and people do not mix. It is not just divided in Republicans and Democrats but in ever other conceivable group. We need to have a way to bring people and the young together with one common ideal.
