Chelsea Manning is one of the most famous whistleblowers on the planet. Now, she is in prison, where she struggles with the harsh and controlling conditions. What possible rationale is there for continuing to imprison a harmless, remorseful person who only wished for greater peace in the world? Agree or disagree with her actions, she does not deserve to be kept in prison, denied even books and magazines, as she serves a 35 year sentence. She needs counseling and the opportunity to continue her transition to a feminine identity on her own terms. And the world needs to move on.
