Cornealious Anderson of Missouri was sentenced in 2000 to 13 years following an armed robbery conviction and told to await instructions on when and where to report to prison. While waiting Anderson turned his life around; he committed know additional crimes aside a few traffic violations, learned a trade, started several businesses, got married and had children. 13 years later someone at the Department of Corrections noticed a clerical error and Anderson was arrested at his home and sent to prison to serve his sentence. The purpose of prison in most cases is to rehabilitate the criminal; to serve as a deterrent for future criminal activity upon release. Anderson has rehabilitated himself, show some mercy!
