This petition is asking the White House to commute the death sentence of Ray Jasper who is scheduled to be executed in March 2014. He was convicted in Texas of Felony Murder. He was an accessory. He did not not actually commit the murder. The person who actually commited the murder made a plea deal and got life in prison only. Ray Jasper shows signs of true rehabilitation. He does not deserve to die. This petition asks the White House to review his case and commute his death sentence. Anyone who has a heart and common sense can plainly see that this man deserves to live. Our justice system should have the wisdom to see this and the authority to act accordingly.
