Bobby Wayne Reed meets the criteria outlined in Clemency Project 2014 and he has served almost 20 years on a non-aggravated and non-violent offense. He is a first offender serving a life sentence. It is our belief that Bobby Reed has served his time due to the harsh discrepancies of the old "Cocaine" vs "Crack" laws. Bobby and his family have suffered dearly for any law he may have broken and keeping him in prison is an act of cruel and unusual punishment. People have served less time for murder and to keep him imprisoned any longer would be a serious injustice to him, his children and his family. We are pleading for favorable consideration for Bobby.
