Commute Ross Ulbricht's sentence

Created by S.P. on May 31, 2015

The life sentence without the possibility of parole given to Ross Ulbricht by Judge Katherine B. Forrest is an absurd violation of the Eighth amendment. It is especially absurd that Judge Forrest based this extreme sentence on crimes for which Ulbricht was never even charged, much less convicted.

One can hope that this travesty of justice will be corrected through the appeal process, but we request that action be taken now to stem the tide of such dangerous overreach by the criminal justice system.
