Companies must make request to cancel out-of-contract services faster and easier.

Created by M.C. on January 29, 2015

Any and all companies offering services to consumers must honor requests to cancel services if the consumer is out of contract. It should be made easier for a consumer to be able to cancel in a timely, and straight forward way. Cancellation options should be required to be available online with a few easy clicks if the company has user account services online. Companies should not be allowed to harass consumers about their cancellation, and should be required to give the consumer the option to bypass any offers to keep the consumer's subscription. This includes, but not limited to: Cable and Internet Providers, Cell Providers, Audio/Music Subscriptions, magazine subscriptions
