Since Congress seems incapable of enacting any meaningful tax reform, if we the people are able to compel all members of Congress to prepare their individual income tax returns on their own, without the help of anyone else, and using only the IRS forms that are publicly available, I think we'd see them passing laws to simplify our tax laws.
Our tax laws should be so simple that any Congressperson can file his/her individual income tax return on his/her own!
