Compel creation of law that prohibits Congress from passing any legislation that does not equally apply to Congress.

Created by S.M. on February 09, 2014

It reads, “We the People…” not: We the People - except Congress.

From the Affordable Care Act to the Civil Rights Act of 1964, members of the U.S. Congress have given themselves exemption to laws that govern all other Americans. This abuse of power must stop.

Through whatever legal and moral means required, we request the Executive Branch to facilitate creation of law that prohibits the Congress of the United States from passing any legislation where the legislation contains any exemptions for members of Congress.

Further, we request that the law also prohibit any terms which might allow for unequal application of any law(s) upon members of Congress in later governmental processes including, but not to limited to enforcement of said law(s).
