The New York Times article has shown what most of us non-partisans already knew; the Benghazi "scandal" was a manufactured lie for political gain. The taxpayers shouldn't pay for such nonsense, and to deter future blatantly dishonest scandal-farming, we should charge the investigation of this manufactured scandal not to the taxpayers, but to the politicians who tried to benefit from the deaths of brave Americans.
