Donald Trump has refused to release his tax returns. Now that he is the incumbent president we should be allowed to see/verify his financial records. This is important to the American people, and the Democracy itself as I am concerned with the possibility of foreign governments having paid Mr. Trump massive amounts of money, and would also like to know if any conflicts of interest exist in companies he or his family own etc. Providing his taxes is also important to legitimize his future presidency. After all, if you have nothing to hide there should be no reason now that Mr. Trump won't provide what all other presidents have since the 1970's.
I am asking for a petition to be signed that makes the White House compel Mr. Trump to release his tax returns.
