Under our Constitution, the Executive branch of the federal government is charged with executing and enforcing federal laws. The current Executive administration, during the last four years, and following the recent federal elections, has wilfully and flagrantly refused and failed to enforce federal law across a wide swath of Congressionally-enacted legislation, including immigration, illicit drugs, and commerical banking practices. In fact, even today the Executive branch announced, through the DOJ, that it would not generally prosecute federal criminal statutes relating to marujuana cultivation, sales, use and abuse in Colorado and Oregon.
This is in direct contravention of the Constitution. It is not the place of the Executive to refuse and fail to execute the law of the land. Join!
