The status quo in this country has long allowed members of it's legislature to commit criminal acts without fear of reprise. Case and point: the criminal intimidation of journalist Michael Scotto shows that the threat of bodily harm from Michael Grimm, a physically larger and capable ex-FBI agent, who threatened to push Scotto over the balcony they were standing at, meets the minimum required legal definition of criminal threatening, in which Scotto had reason to fear for his life. While this is only a misdemeanor under the law, it shows at best a lack of respect for the profession of journalism, and at worst intent to shield unclassified info from the public. If the administration doesn't take a stand to push for impeachment, they appear complicit in this and all legislative corruption.
