In 2007, a Pew Research poll found that 70% of Americans rejected the idea that “nude pictures and X-rated videos on the internet provide harmless entertainment for those who enjoy it”. In other words, 70% of Americans agree that there is at least some harm in viewing pornography. Yet since the advent of the internet there has been no attempt to regulate explicit content from reaching our nation's children. Let's push this administration to compel internet providers to create an "opt out" option for families trying to protect their children.
