An organization that is granted a 501(c)(3) non-profit status is required to be non-partisan, however the Commission on Presidential Debates has set an arbitrary criteria for the admission of candidates to participate in the presidential debates, which excludes minor party candidates from consideration and only allows Democrat or Republican candidates to debate publicly. This bi-partisan policy only serves to damage the integrity of the electoral process and violates their obligation as a non-profit organization to maintain a neutral non-partisan position. Therefore, if the Commission on Presidential Debates is unwilling to change their policy and allow 3rd party candidates in the debates, I therefore request that the Internal Revenue Service investigate and revoke their 501(c)(3) status.
