The Peace Dollar was the US dollar coin minted from 1921-1928 and again in 1934 and 1935. This coin is an incredibly beautiful coin, possibly the most beautiful coin ever minted. Now, in this day and age, minting it in 90% silver as it used to be minted isn't a viable option, but it would still be quite beautiful in a base metal such as the other coins minted for circulation today.
This coin isn't as easily lost as the smaller, more recent dollar coins, yet isn't so heavy as to unnessecarily burden peoples' pockets and purses.
It is a beautiful coin, and would most likely circulate well. Please petition the White House to make a good decision on this certainly most pressing issue.
