compensate the Department of Defense employees and contractors who worked at a Department of Energy nuclear facility

Created by M.W. on April 26, 2012

During the 1980's there were hundreds of nuclear tests being performed at the Nevada Test Site, which is a Department of Energy facility. During this time thousands of Department of Defense employees and its contractors were literally working side by side with the DoE employees. The DoE employees and its contractors are receiving compensation from the Department of Labor under the EEOICPA for their efforts while the DoD employees and its contractors receive nothing. All claims denied because we were DoD contractors. We have no one giving us aid in our time of need. These workers are suffering from the same diseases the DoE employees are suffering from. The government must step up and help these workers get the compensation they deserve from a country who has turned their back on them
