Compensate veterans and their families who were exposed to contaminated water at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

Created by J.K. on February 01, 2014

Military personnel and their families were exposed to highly contaminated water at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune between 1954 and 1984. A high number of veterans who served on active duty and their families have had medical problems above and beyond what most would consider normal. The Marine Corps is treating this as a public relations problem instead of doing what is right and taking care of the veterans and their dependents. These families and individuals need to be compensated for the negligence of the US Marine Corps before most of them die while fighting a system that is set up so that the process takes years in most cases. The US Marine Corps is at fault and they need to step up to the plate and compensate those expose to a multitude of hazardous chemicals.
