There is much concern in America about government spending and taxes. Rather than allowing the government to have blind autonomy over how our tax money is used, the American people have a right to see how this spending occurs firsthand in real time. This would allow us to make informed judgments. This information should be broken down in detail showing how much (in dollars and in percentages) is being spent on: foreign aid (how much is provided to each country and why), subsidies (how much, to whom, and why), Department of Defense (including details on how the money is divided up), and everything else. We should have this detailed knowledge online, at our fingertips, and it should be updated monthly. This will help Americans vote toward our common good. After all, it is OUR money.
