The BATFE has become too corrupt and politically motivated. It's being used as tool by corrupt administrations to control the populace and unconstitutionally tax individual rights (ex: NFA stamps). The recent information regarding the BATFE's failure to destroy firearm records is an indication that they are covertly trying to create a national firearm registry (again, unconstitutional). Regulation, if any, should be returned to the States as originally intended by our forefathers.
