Many American states seem to be holding on to malicious policies that allow taking peoples lives. Why are we showing people that the right way to punish a convicted murderer is by murdering them? Is killing the right answer? Why are we so contradicting?
We also realize that these very same death sentences are robbing taxpayers millions of dollars more to have penitentiary inmates executed than the cost of prisoners who serve life in prison. Also, as taxpayers, we don't want be the one financing the executioner, we are not looking forward to hiring assassins.
We should implement a plan to have these prisoners be more resourceful to our country instead of excessively redeeming our own resources to fund these cruel hypocritical penalties at ridiculous costs.
