To ask from Congress and the White House, immediate action, in eliminating the New Progressive Party (Partido Nuevo Progresista) from Puerto Rico and the next elections. Their plans for the next elections are a complete threat to the economy and the people of Puerto Rico – even to democracy.
Puerto Rico is in catastrophic debt due to this political party and their corruption in the past years. The time is ripe for an investigation and action, over what has been done with the people’s money over the last two years. Congress, under Art. IV, Sec. 3 of the U.S. Constitution, has the power to intervene with it: as a territory; a condition reiterated judicially by the U.S. Supreme Court.
