Many veterans who served our country are denied VA healthcare and housing assistance due to the 24 months of service rule. I believe that if a Veteran who served 12 months and was discharged at General Under Honorable Conditions or better should receive housing assistance and healthcare. I'm petitioning this to draw attention to a serious hole in the VA's mission to care for those who served this country.
