Completely Legalize Industrial Hemp

Created by T.R. on January 30, 2014

Congress is about to approve "experimental" hemp cultivation in 10 states. While this is a nice thought, it's highly restricted, half hearted, and a hollow gesture at best.

Hemp was so essential to this country that in 1942 the U.S. government released a film called Hemp for Victory, back then it wasn't so "experimental" they were suggesting that people might try to grow it because it might help the war effort, no they practically insisted that many farmers grow it, because we needed it to win the war.

There is no need for "experimentation" to find it's merits, hemp has more than earned it's status as a 100% legal plant to cultivate.

And a thriving domestic hemp industry could bring the country's largest ghetto through Appalachia into the 20th century, which would be a start.
