The National Defense Authorization Act and the Patriot Act contain provisions which illegally diminish the constitutional rights of Americans.
Specifically, these acts allow the federal government to indefinitely detain American citizens and deny them the right to a speedy and public trial by a jury of their peers.
We affirm that these policies are illegal under the Constitution of the United States and ask that this administration completely nullify these acts immediately.
We also ask that this administration cease and desist any actions which could be construed as diminishing the constitutional rights of Americans - such as passing laws which restrict the scope of 2nd amendment rights by seeking to impose bans on assault rifles and high capacity magazines.
