completely remove of the U.S Department of Education.

Created by V.K. on January 09, 2014

It is absolutely nonsensical for the federal government to spend 70 billion dollars of our hard-earned taxpayer money on the United States Department of Education. The average salary for those bureaucrats is $100,000 dollars a year. Have any of these folks ever taught a child to read or are they there simply for the money? We have a national debt of over 17 trillion dollars and the president continues to advocate spending more money that we do not have. We must not spend in areas where it's not needed. You all know that our children and grandchildren have done nothing to deserve inheriting this outrageous debt. I urge the president and members of Congress, both the House and Senate, to ensure that taxpayer money is spent as if it was their own. Thank you for your consideration.
