The education system is completely broken and is depriving American students of a real education. I see the failure first hand as a high school student. This "assembly line" system of education does not work and standardized tests are extremely flawed. Albert Einstein said, "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
Countries have long surpassed us in education and if the USA wants to get back on track we must adopt a system that embraces creativity, imagination, and innovation. We must not keep our system of repetitive, irrelevant course work and tests. On behalf of American students, we demand a system that doesn't deprive us and the future youth of a real education!
