The Social Security Trust Fund is totally funded by American citizens and needs to be administered by a completely independent agency to stop Congress's ability to raid it whenever they fail to adequately fund their discretionary spending and prevent it from being privatized in the future. The Social Security Trust Fund has been raided several times in the past for more that 2 Trillion dollars total that needs to be paid back. Congress and the President of the Unites States needs to set a priority to establish a plan to pay back what was taken from the fund plus interest. The Social Security Trust Fund is our money and Congress needs to keep it's mitts off!
