The US has exhibited a failed foreign policy in the middle east since WWII. These policies have cost this country not only huge sums of money, but have also resulted in the deaths of many americans both in our own country and overseas.
We signing this petition formally request that the US completely remove all of its assets and interests from the entire middle east region, stop all funding of foreign countries or groups in the region including our "so-called" allies and allow the region to try to govern itself or implode trying.
The cost in terms of war and lives is not worth the public or private interests in the region and we as americans should not be flipping the bill in terms of lives and money when those assets could be used to further our own causes within our own borders.
