Comply with the Presidential Oath of Office, in reference to the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution

Created by I.A. on January 24, 2013

Your OATH of office, set down in Article 2 Section 1, reads "I do SOLEMNLY SWEAR or affirm that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability PRESERVE, PROTECT and DEFEND the CONSTITUTION of the United States." Being that the Second Amendment is part of The Bill of Rights and is written into the Constitution, and that both you, Mr. President, and the Supreme Court agree that the right to keep and bear arms is an INDIVIDUAL RIGHT, we petition that you hold true faith to your oath of office to PRESERVE and PROTECT the Constitution, by ensuring that our Second Amendment RIGHTS are not infringed upon by refusing to sign any Bill brought before you banning commonly owned semiautomatic rifles.
