1. End Daylight Savings Time
Daylight Savings Time is an outdated event, which results in inconvenience and lost revenue to individuals and business. The change is unnecessary, as activities which depend on daylight will occur based on daylight and not the time on a clock. In addition, Daylight Savings Time is not observed the same in all parts of the country, creating even more confusion.
2. Establish one time zone for the United States.
Multiple time zones present an obstacle for business. When someone in one time zone schedules a meeting with someone else, they must always determine the time zone of the other person. The result is missed schedules and confusion, resulting in lost revenue and delay.
