This petition is to push Obama to come to a compromise with the Republican and Democratic members of the House and Senate on the budget. There is no reason to come to a "fiscal cliff" and let taxes on normal hard working U.S. citizens be raised. If you can not come to a compromise and work a budget either through Capitol Hill employees (i.e. Senators, Congress Works, the President, the Vice President) taking a pay cut or stopping their own pay.
