Compromise a Fair Assault Rifle Law.

The President wants to ban Assault Rifles because he doesn't believe they should be in the hands of our people. To some this is reasonable, to many this is absurd, and to our forefathers this is a slap in the face. Not only because our 2nd amendment is being attacked, but because our constitution is being trampled on. The Constitution was written to protect us from OUR government, not for the government to tweak. I petition that the President and his Administration come to terms with gun advocate organizations, and make a fair law that doesn't go against what thousands and thousands of men and women died for. Criminals cause crime, not honest good hearted Americans who own guns for recreational activities and defense against criminals. We're not the bad guys.
