As concerned citizens, we demand a fully auditable voting system within the United States.

Created by B.H. on November 13, 2012

As concerned citizens, we demand a fully auditable voting system within the United States.

Voting systems without a paper trail are not truly auditable.

A computerized system can be manipulated presenting too much of a risk to a democracy.

Basic requirements of a system are
1) The creation of and the counting of ballots must be separate processes.
2) The voting booth may not be connected to a network as votes are cast.
3) The only purpose of a voting booth is to create auditable ballots.
4) Ballots should be human readable for the voter to confirm they are casting the ballot as they marked.
5) In large districts, ballots should be machine readable.
6) Ballots must be able to be counted manually if a need should arise.
7) Counting of ballots must be a repeatable process.
