The recent events of Vladimir Putin in Russia are very distrubing. These activities border on Naziism at its infancy and myself (and those supporting this petition) can not sit idly by to see history repeat in such a horrific fashion.
We ask that the Obama Administration issue a verbal condemnation of these actions by the Putin Administration, and consider potential sanctions against them. We also ask that we formally offer political assylum for any LGBT persons wishing to flee Russia in light of these terrible breaches of human rights.
We also ask that the Obama Administration demand a move of the Olympics out of Russia on threat of boycot.
