There was recently a violent attack on a Radiohead listening party in Istanbul.
People were in a record store celebrating the release of the newest Radiohead album when they were savagely beaten by people with lead pipes who were angry that they were listening to music and drinking beer during Ramadan.
On top of this horrible act, the mayor of Istanbul said that these people had it Coming for their actions during Ramadan. I would like our administration to condemn these actions. If one cannot even do something as trivial as listening to music and enjoying a beer in a country that is a member of NATO I don't want to defend them. These are not our values and I don't accept this activity.
