Condemn the Heinous Acts of the Mexican Government

Created by R.R. on November 13, 2014

On September 26th 2014, forty-three Mexican college students from Iguala, Mexico were kidnapped after staging a peaceful protest against hiring discrimination. Some of them were last seen being forced into police trucks and driven away. It has been 19 days since they went missing, and there has been no response from the White House.

This is a travesty. Mexico is one of our closest allies, and they have become closely tied with the US. As
President Obama himself said on a recent trip to Mexico, "Mexico is standing up for democracy not just here [in Mexico] but throughout the hemisphere."

Mexico is not standing for democracy now. It is standing up for fear and tyranny, as we sit idly by and do nothing.
Condemn the government's actions, and then both countries may find peace.
