Members of the LGBT community in Russia are under threat of constant attack by members of the hate-group 'Occupy Pedophilia.' They lure young members of the LGBT community in by inviting them on fake dates, they then film themselves beating, humiliating, threatening, and sometimes even kidnapping these individuals. After, they post these videos on the internet to cause further harm to the victims of their crimes.
The group operates under the new anti-gay legislation in Russia, and faces little risk of punishment from police forces. This is despite the fact that these actions are clearly hate crimes, and further the sentiment that LGTB individuals are second-class citizens in Russia. The President needs to condemn this group and request Russian officials take immediate action against them.
