Condemn the massacre of political prisoners by Iran, as a crime against humanity

Created by B.A. on August 21, 2013

The recent election of Hassan Rohani as Iran’s new president has created false hope and some people in congress are urging the US to intensify its diplomatic efforts.
The results of the election did nothing to suggest a major change of the country’s policies. All major policy decisions are made by Ali Khamenei, who is determined to continue his old policies.
This Islamic Republic regime is criminal at its core and cannot be trusted.
Recently, Canada’s government and opposition MPs voted on a motion to condemn the massacre of thousands of political prisoners by the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1988, as a crime against humanity.
We petition the Obama Administration to condemn the massacre of thousands of political prisoners by Iran's government in 1988, as a crime against humanity.
