Condemn the Russian governments passage of anti LGBT laws and their encouragement of violence against LGBT people.

Mr. president we can not sit silently by and allow the LGBT citizens of Russia, and their supporters, to be jailed, beaten, and murdered. The Russian Duma and Mr. Putin have effectively declared war and adopted a policy against a group of people simply for who they are. We can not allow this, we are a beacon of hope throughout the world, we can not tell people it gets better, when for our brothers and sisters in Russian it is indeed getting worse. We need to lead the world in telling the Russians that discrimination on any level can not be tolerated.
