Condemn Saudi Arabia's scheduled and soon to be carried out execution of Ali Mohammed Al Nimr.

Created by B.H. on September 28, 2015

In 2012, a then 17 year old Ali Mohammed Al Nimr encouraged pro-democracy demonstrations in Saudi Arabia during the Arab Spring. He was sentenced to death, and is scheduled to be beheaded and later crucified today, September 28th. The United States of America cannot stand idly by while a nation it supports kills someone for encouraging democracy. As a country we should be condemning this heinous act, as it is not the only case of human rights violations by this kingdom, nor will it be the last if the international community does not stand up to this vile crime. Therefore, I call upon President Obama to publicly denounce this execution to bring light to this indefensible act by Saudi Arabia.
